Your Check-in, On the Record: Introducing the Online Check-in Report

When your event wraps, SincSports now issues one document that shows exactly how check-in went – team by team.

Until now, proving your event ran a clean check-in meant piecing it together from screens, exports and spreadsheets. That works until someone asks a specific question about a specific team weeks later.

The Online Check-in Report replaces all of that with a single printable record of every accepted team’s check-in. SincSports issues it once your event is over, and the issued copy never changes.

What’s in the Report

Everything you’d want on hand if anyone asks how check-in was handled:

  • A summary of your event’s check-in requirements
  • A breakdown by division
  • Team status, with incomplete teams listed first along with the tasks each one still owes
  • A grid of every team against every required task
  • A full history of overrides
  • Who reviewed documents – SincSports staff, event staff, or both

Preview During the Event, Issued After

You don’t have to wait for the event to end to use it. The report is live the whole time and becomes official once the event is over.

How it works

  1. Preview while your event runs. The report updates as teams finish their tasks, so you can use it to track progress and spot gaps.
  2. Issued when the event ends. The report is assigned a report number and a verification code.
  3. Frozen from that point on. Anyone who opens the issued report later sees exactly what was true when it was issued – not a version with later edits mixed in.

Clear About Who Reviewed What

Every event handles document review a little differently. Some have SincSports staff review player documents, some use their own event or association staff, and some do both.

The report’s certification wording reflects exactly how your event was handled. Reviewers are identified by type – SincSports staff or event staff – rather than by name. Where event staff did the reviewing, the report notes that SincSports served as the platform of record for those documents.

Because SincSports issues the report, there’s no director signature line. The report number and verification code are what make it official.

Every Override Is on Record

Game day always brings exceptions. When staff override a task, exempt a team or reset a task, SincSports now logs who made the change, when, and what kind of change it was.

Staff can also add who requested the override and a short note. Both are optional, but a quick note now saves a lot of explaining later. That log feeds the override history in your report.

To match, the approval panel on the check-in teams page now shows Approvals by Type, with one row for SincSports staff and one for event staff.

Where to Find It

From the Master page, visit the Tools tab. Open the OLC Status page for your event and select the Check-in Report link. The report covers every accepted team in your event.

Quick Answers

Can I see the report before my event ends?

Yes. It’s available as a Preview the entire time and becomes official once it’s issued after the event.

Why isn’t my name or signature on it?

SincSports issues the report, so it has no director signature line and identifies reviewers by type rather than by name.

A team was changed after the report was issued. Will the report update?

No. The issued copy stays frozen. That’s the point – it shows exactly what was true when it was issued.
